The cuisine was excellent, thoughtful, and inventive, with pleasant service and a nice ambiance. We were really enjoying our experience... until I found a piece of broken glass in my meat. Fortunately, it ended up in my mouth and not my gums, or else it could have been much worse. I promptly handed it to our waitress, who looked horrified and hurried off to the kitchen. She returned with a message that the kitchen "didn't know where it came from" (as if I was interested in that!). None of the chefs from the kitchen came out to apologize. The cost of the dish was removed from the bill, but our mood was spoiled. It's a shame, but I cannot recommend this place.

A great restaurant! A decoration in total harmony with the castle!
The main course was very good! Whether it's the potatoes, the salad or the burger itself! The only downside is that homemade mayonnaise would have been preferable to industrial ones.
As for dessert, the chocolate mousse with its shards was to die for!

At the foot of the medieval towers of Blandy Castle you will be welcomed by a friendly and efficient team. The summer menu is well adapted to the ambient climate, the dishes are copious, graphic and tasty. Fast and discreet service: a real pleasure to see young people polite and with a smile! A pure moment of happiness before joining the sounds and lights in the castle. Address to recommend.
